[Explanation] In recent years, as the aging of the population has intensified, the use of technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data, and artificial intelligence to embed various software and hardware technology products into communities has gradually become a trend across China.

It is understood that as of now, the elderly population in Sichuan Province has exceeded the 17 million mark, and the population aging rate has exceeded 20%, entering a deeply aging society.

Starting in 2020, Sichuan Province will focus on the community elderly care service complex as its hub, pilot the construction of smart elderly care communities, and create a "15-minute elderly care service circle" in home communities.

On February 25, in a community of Angong Community, Huayang Street, Tianfu New District, Sichuan, 84-year-old Wang Yongfu pressed the smart call button at home. Soon, Wang Xiaoli, a housekeeper for the elderly who was working in the community, immediately received an alert on her mobile phone. It will be displayed simultaneously on the system of the community pension post.

In this model, active health sensors are installed in the bedroom of the elderly to collect dynamic data about the elderly’s work, rest, sleep, and big data artificial intelligence analysis to form a “need for care index”, which is then transmitted to the platform through the Internet of Things and distributed to the elderly’s children and community organizations.

At the same time, a smart call button is installed in the elderly's home to realize one-key help.

Wang Xiaoli said that with the help of big data, elderly butlers and volunteers have achieved precise services for the elderly.

If the old man has any emergency or needs, he can press our pager, and then it will pop up a message on our mobile APP, and also on the computer of our pension station, and on our projection screen. There is a display of our elderly, which means that there is such a record in several buildings and units. We know that we will contact the elderly in time. If the call fails, we will come to see what the elderly has. need.

[Explanation] Wang Yongfu is one of the first elderly people in the Angong community to "eat crabs".

The smart call buttons installed in the living room, bedroom and bathroom are the smart elderly service equipment he uses the most daily.

In an emergency, if you are sick or feel uncomfortable, press this to notify them, and they will take measures to help us solve it.

It is very convenient for us to pick up express mail, buy food, and see a doctor in the hospital.

[Explanation] At present, the community's smart elderly care pilot program covers more than 200 elderly people, and the effect is remarkable.

The health big data of the elderly is transmitted through the smart elderly care platform, enabling the interconnection of medical care institutions and improving the efficiency of elderly care. It also provides management departments with big data analysis, smart supervision, decision-making assistance and various smart medical management services.

Xu Cheng, the founder of a domestic smart elderly care brand, said that China's Internet of Things, big data, and artificial intelligence technologies have developed rapidly in recent years. There is no technical bottleneck in the application of the elderly care service industry. What is urgently needed to explore is the combination of online and offline.

What we are currently lacking in this domestic smart community and home care is the service model. We have not yet fully formed this service model, but our preliminary experience for more than a year tells us that this demand is really needed in the community. People need it.

[Explanation] Zhang Biao, the party secretary of Angong Community, who has worked in grassroots communities for a long time, also said that elderly care institutions cannot meet the huge needs of various places, and smart elderly care communities will definitely be the mainstream in the future.

I think this is a key way to truly solve the problem of old-age care. Therefore, we can only solve the daily problems of the elderly’s daily life and the problems that are really urgent to solve. This normalized service model can be established. Is the only way out.
