On February 26, the Sichuan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology announced the archaeological results of the Luojiaba site in the past two years.

For the first time, archaeologists have unearthed more than a dozen tortoise shells from the Eastern Zhou tombs more than 2,000 years ago. These tortoise shells with traces of divination provide physical evidence for the Ba people’s custom of “sang witch”.

The picture shows a rectangular drill hole for divination can be seen on the unearthed tortoise shell.
