In Perros-Guirec, on the pink granite coast, we take the protection of nature very seriously.

Since September 1, 2020, an experimental unit “to fight against environmental and public health damage” has been created.

In theory, planned to last one year, it is made up of two gendarmes who track down full-time those who pollute or damage the fauna or flora throughout the Côtes d'Armor department.

Publicity

Gendarmes who in almost 6 months, have already dealt with about sixty cases, violations of the environmental code.

It is a unique experience in France.
