A departure driven by the "repression" at Canal +?
"Marie Portolano leaves before being fired," explains one of her relatives in
Paris
.
Because this departure is part of the deleterious context that has reigned for several months within the Canal + group.
According to this relative interviewed, the management of Canal would have Marie Portolano in the viewfinder.
the reason ?
She signed, with a hundred other journalists, technicians, consultants, a text in support of the comedian Sébastien Thoen.
The latter was fired by Canal + at the end of November 2020, after he participated in a parody of the show
L'heure des pros
from CNews, a channel that belongs to the same group.
Sports commentator Stéphane Guy was then fired for supporting Sébastien Thoen.
The National Union of Journalists (SNJ) denounces a "repression" within the Canal + group.
