Three people were arrested on suspicion of bribery, including Katsumi Takahashi (49), the president of Kofu City's social welfare corporation "Ojukai," and Hideo Takeyama (59), whose occupation is unknown in Nara Prefecture.



In addition, five councilors who are in a position to appoint directors at the corporation were arrested on suspicion of bribery.



According to the police, Mr. Takahashi and his colleagues will give five councilors 200,000 yen each in cash in return for choosing the person they instructed at the council meeting to decide new directors, etc. 100 There is a suspicion that he gave him 10,000 yen.
