"Art Dubai" announced the list of exhibitions participating in the 2021 edition of the exhibition, stressing its commitment to providing an attendance platform for exhibitions and artists from various countries of the Global South.
This year's edition will move to its new location in the Dubai International Financial Center within a specially constructed space for the exhibition, to ensure that the highest levels of commitment to the precautionary measures associated with the Covid-19 pandemic are met, providing a safe and secure environment for participants and visitors alike.
The exhibition will open its doors from March 29 to April 3.
The exhibition is held in strategic partnership with the Culture and Arts Authority in Dubai, and this year's edition will welcome 50 leading art galleries in modern and contemporary arts from 31 countries, to represent a diverse range of artists, businesses and practices, reflecting the multicultural identity that characterizes Dubai.
In addition to the exhibitions coming from famous and emerging art centers from around the world, 10 galleries from the Emirate of Dubai are participating, reflecting the rapid growth witnessed by the local art markets and arena in the emirate.
Pablo Dell, Art Dubai's artistic director, said: “Urban exhibitions are the living soul and beating heart of the world of art and artists.” He added, “As we try to glimpse our way out of the effects of a dangerous pandemic that has struck the world, we feel the responsibility to do everything we can to support artists and exhibitions ».
