The corresponding decree was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The document is posted on the official Internet portal of legal information.

Bikovich commented on the acquisition of Russian citizenship on Instagram.

“For over seven years I have been participating in the cultural life of Russia.

For me it is a blessing and a source of happiness.

All this time I feel like an active member of Russian society, now it is officially enshrined.

It is a great honor that today I can say: Russia is my Motherland! "

- the actor admitted.

He also expressed the hope that his work will serve to unite Russians and Serbs through culture.

Earlier, the actor noted that Russia and Serbia are in many ways similar.

“Serbia and Russia are like two branches of the same tree.
