From September 2021, periodic protection will be free for students, announced the Minister of Higher Education, Frédérique Vidal, on Tuesday.

In mid-December, the Minister of Solidarity and Health, Olivier Véran, and the Minister for Gender Equality, Elisabeth Moreno, announced that five million euros would be allocated in 2021 to the fight against menstrual insecurity , which affects nearly one in ten women in France, especially the most vulnerable and young people.
