Embark on the "Long March Road" of poverty alleviation
In 2005, after graduating from Anhui Jianzhu University, Qiu Jun joined Donghua Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Chemical.
He is an "all-round outstanding talent" in the eyes of his colleagues, and has won the honorary title of the company's outstanding Communist Party member.
In February 2017, Qiu Jun was appointed as the deputy director of the project management department of Donghua Company.
As a middle-level leader, he could have had a more comfortable choice, but he took the initiative to ask for help and embarked on the "Long March Road" to help the old revolutionary base get rid of poverty.
From the eight Anhui land to the Loess Plateau, he left his familiar working environment, his relatives and friends. Facing the differences in the natural environment, language and diet, Qiu Jun faced the challenge and quickly started the first step in poverty alleviation-mastery The current poverty situation of the county.
He spent the shortest time investigating and visiting more than 1,300 poor households in 75 administrative villages in 15 towns across the county.
Whenever he goes to a township, he has to discuss and communicate with rural cadres; when he goes to a village, he has to look at housing, drinking water, and industry development; when he goes to a peasant household, he has to ask about income, education, medical care, and Ask difficult.
After more than a month, he not only mastered the first-hand information on poverty alleviation, but also had a clear idea of the county's poverty alleviation work.
"There are thousands of ways to help the poor, and industry is the king." After in-depth research and analysis, Qiu Jun realized that without a good industry, one cannot completely get rid of poverty; without a good industry, even if you get rid of poverty temporarily, you will return to poverty.
He is determined to adapt measures to local conditions to make up for the shortcomings of the industry.
"Bull Industry" Becomes "Engine"
During the two years in Huachi, Qiu Jun focused on building dairy farms and developing the cattle industry.
In the towns and towns where he is responsible for the most important poverty alleviation task in the county, he has a large area of natural pastures, sufficient water sources and good air quality. He proposed a bold idea: build a dairy farm and lead the masses to raise cattle to get rich.
Chenghao Town has no dairy farming enterprises and no private dairy farming experience.
At the beginning, the cadres and the masses were skeptical.
In order to dispel the worries of the masses and minimize the capital input of the poor, Qiu Jun used corporate aid funds as policy subsidies, and determined the industrial development model of "enterprise-driven household support".
In order to mobilize the masses to actively participate, he and village cadres went door-to-door to talk about policies and mobilize. In the end, 162 poor households in Chenghao Town raised 810 dairy cows.
In order to further resolve the worries of the masses, he actively connected with CP Group and started beef cattle breeding in Chenghao Town and Rouyuan Town. Breeding enterprises signed agreements with farmers, and established a mechanism for connecting the common interests of enterprises and farmers. The "cattle industry" became the driving force. The "engine" for the masses to lift themselves out of poverty and become rich.
While developing the "cattle industry", Qiu Jun's eyes were attracted by the barren hills in Huachi.
How to make "barren mountain" become "golden mountain"?
Through field visits and investigations, the idea of developing seabuckthorn industrial ecological poverty alleviation projects on barren mountains has gradually become clear.
Through his efforts and coordination, China National Chemical invested 1.38 million yuan to transfer 55 acres of land in Fantai Group, Zhuangke Village, Chenghao Town, to cultivate seabuckthorn cutting seedlings and then transplant them into barren hills.
The project cultivated a total of 6.2 million seabuckthorn seedlings, realized a steady increase of more than 15,000 yuan in annual income of 44 poor households, and radiated more than 150 people in 4 surrounding towns to increase labor income.
The poverty alleviation industry is there, where is the product outlet?
Knowing the difficulty in selling special agricultural products, Qiu Jun consciously took on the role of a "salesman" and became the "Internet celebrity county chief" of Huachi.
Qiu Jun carefully studied the development prospects and ideas of rural e-commerce, and guided the completion of the information promotion and operation of the top ten enterprises and top ten online stores in Huachi County.
At the same time, using the China Chemical E-commerce platform to tailor a sales platform for Huachi agricultural products, Huachi agricultural products can be stationed in the Central Enterprise Poverty Alleviation Hall of China Construction Bank Shanrong Business Platform and the Agricultural Bank of China Poverty Alleviation Mall.
After a lot of efforts, Qiu Jun also personally took the live broadcast of the goods during the golden autumn consumption season of the Chinese Farmers Harvest Festival.
After a live broadcast, more than 3,700 orders were obtained and sales revenue was 470,000 yuan.

Practicing the mission of a party member
To block the intergenerational transmission of poverty, poverty alleviation through employment and education are the key.
Qiu Jun encouraged poor households to "go out" for employment, and actively coordinated the organization of special job fairs in response to the employment difficulties of the surplus labor force in Huachi County.
In order to solve the problem of people's worries and lack of willingness to go out to work, he actively ran and matched bridges. Donghua Company and Huachi County Construction Enterprises successfully established a "central enterprise + private enterprise + poor households" cooperation mechanism and signed a assistance project with an investment of 21 million yuan , Driving nearly a hundred people (times) in employment.
In order to effectively promote education and poverty alleviation, Qiu Jun took advantage of the opportunity of Sinochem to carry out the "Party Building + Poverty Alleviation" activities in Nanliang, and coordinated the group party members and cadres to pair up with 873 poor people in Huachi County, and organized the "Golden Autumn Educational Assistance" every year. Activities, subsidized poor students who were admitted to universities; at the same time, actively organized and organized various special trainings such as planting technology training courses and cadre capacity improvement training courses, benefiting more than 1,000 poor people.
Always keeping in mind the original aspiration of an outstanding Communist Party member, Qiu Jun took his sentiments to the grassroots and went deep into the front line, fulfilling the mission of a Party member.
Since he was suspended, he has devoted all his energy to work, and even his wife cannot be with her when she is pregnant, and he has only taken paternity leave for one week.
But just as the battle against poverty in Huachi County was decisive, Qiu Jun fell.
On November 17 last year, when the office revised the poverty alleviation report, Qiu Jun suddenly felt unwell. After being sent to the hospital for examination, he was diagnosed with aortic dissection type A and was admitted to the intensive care unit.
"Next year's'cattle industry' will be bigger, the chrysanthemum industry will be stronger, and the work in the village and village must be strengthened..." In the ward, Qiu Jun was still thinking about his work and remembering his work.
At 14:33 on January 8, at Xijing Hospital of the Air Force Military Medical University, his life was frozen at this moment.
Although Qiu Jun left, his little things will always be etched in the hearts of the people in the old district.
