Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a document stating that under the initiative of "Chinese New Year in situ", Chinese New Year greetings, entertainment and consumption patterns continue to shift online.

"Festival in the cloud", digital red envelopes, and online shopping for New Year's goods have become new trends, driving mobile Internet traffic to maintain rapid growth.

According to data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, mobile Internet traffic reached 3.573 million TB (1TB=1024GB) in the 7 days of the Spring Festival holiday, an increase of 23.4% compared to the 7 days of the 2020 Spring Festival.

Earlier, data from the Alipay platform showed that online red envelope distribution increased by 270%, and 260 million people participated in the online "write blessings and send blessings" activities.

Cloud-based interaction, entertainment, shopping, and other "cloud-based life" methods are favored.
