Doctor Portuondo, Filmin's first original series, to premiere in October

As Filmin itself explained this Monday, filming will begin on March 8 in Barcelona of "this funny regression of autobiographical overtones" with

, in the role of an eccentric Cuban psychoanalyst who will star in fiction, and

, playing to the patient and alter ego of Carlo Padial who comes to his office to undergo his therapy.

Carlo Padial himself, writer of the novel edited by Blackie Books, will be in charge of heading this first series that Filmin will

and for which he will have the collaboration in the production of La Chica de the curve.

"The first day of filming

marks a new milestone for Filmin, reaching the age of majority as a platform", affirms the CEO and founder of the platform, Juan Carlos Tous.

The author, Carlo Padial, for his part, remarks that "we all need therapy" because "we are ignorant of ourselves" and "we should go to the couch".

"This series is a unique opportunity to do it for a while, even as spectators, through a fiction that helps us understand ourselves and the people we know, always from humor", the novelist emphasizes.
