So far this winter, more than 4.54 million chickens for egg collection and 13,500 ducks have been slaughtered, totaling about 4.56 million chickens, and the whole of Chiba prefecture for egg collection. About 36% of the chickens have been slaughtered.



A total of 50 farms in 17 prefectures nationwide have outbreaks of bird flu, and 9.75 million birds are slaughtered, of which 46% are slaughtered in Chiba prefecture.



In the future, Chiba Prefecture plans to take epidemic prevention measures such as burying and incinerating slaughtered chickens.
