A night owl getaway in Paris

Fancy a nighttime getaway in the middle of a curfew?

Les Nuits du bout des waves

invites the listener to take a seat on the bench of Jean's taxi, one summer evening, and to follow his tribulations in night owl Paris.

At the origin of this sound fiction in six episodes, produced by the INA, three fans of nocturnal radio programs, Clara Lacombe, Viviane Chaudon and Marine Beccarelli unearth testimonies, extracts from cult programs such as

Allô Macha, Le pop- club, Cuddly nights, Your desires are my nights

… And make them talk to each other.

The narrator, Marina Urquidi, cradles the listener with her enveloping voice of a former free radio host.

From strange encounters to changes in frequency, this stroll, available on Madelen, allows you to get away from it all in sensuality and legality!

The manipulator Rupert Murdoch

It all begins as in Succession, and for good reason, its story inspired the HBO series.

In 1995, billionaire Rupert Murdoch, 64, thought of choosing his successor from among his children at the head of his media empire ... Finally, like Logan Roy in fiction, the old fox decided to continue to make and break the powerful of the world whole.

The three-part documentary Murdoch, The Great Media Manipulator, available on Arte.TV, looks back on the Australian magnate's last twenty-five years.

Family, scandals, sex, threats, political blackmail, News of the World wiretapping affair… This documentary shows how Rupert Murdoch manipulated public opinion with his titles, in defiance of all the ethical rules of the press, making himself l architect of Brexit, the Trump presidency or climate skepticism.

A terrifying immersion!

The great Catherine of Russia

Hilarious satire!

The Great, available on Starzplay, ironically narrates the rise of Empress Catherine II, played by Elle Fanning.

Created by Tony McNamara, the co-writer of The Favorite, this "occasionally true" series ignores historical accuracy and scans the codes of the biopic to portray the tumultuous plot of Catherine and her followers to overthrow her unpredictable, misogynistic, violent and hateful husband, the poor Emperor Peter III, embodied by Nicholas Hoult.

In an 18th century Russia ruled by patriarchy and ruled by violence, this fiction portrays a powerful, cultured, feminist and ambitious woman.

A pleasurable comedy with sharp and spicy dialogues, full of modernity and liveliness, served by an impeccable interpretation.

“Huzzah!

», As Pierre says so well to celebrate his victories.

Eddy Murphy, star of Blaxploitation

Cinema for the ghetto, through the ghetto.

Dolemite is my name

, available on Netflix, by biopic kings Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski, tells the story of Rudy Ray Moore, street entertainer, rap pioneer, and late icon of Blaxploitation, black-American cinematic movement of the years 1970. Originally stand-upper, then record store, Moore invents the character of Dolemite from stories of tramps that he transcribed in 33 rpm, before bringing them to the screen.

The biopic, in the manner of Ed Wood, returns to the incredible filming of

Dolemite

, a broke nanar from the seventies mixing thriller, comedy, kung fu and eroticism.

In the extravagant and outrageous costume of Rudy Ray Moore of this hero caught between his thirst for success and his lack of genius, Eddie Murphy, imperial, finally resuscitates with a role to the extent of his talent.
