Organizing an international African fashion festival in Lomé is a real challenge in these times of pandemic.
While all Fashion Weeks from London to Paris via Milan are currently taking place virtually, European designers presenting their collections on their sites, the African continent is trying to perpetuate face-to-face fashion shows with stylists and models showing in public on two evenings. their latest collections.
The abnegation of Jacques Logoh to want to maintain against all odds the eighth edition of FIMO228 this weekend in Lomé was a risky bet. Bringing around twenty African designers and forty models from all over the continent with all the restrictions of circulation due to the pandemic was a logistical challenge.
