The "Sakegawa Snow Festival" was held in Sakegawa Village, Yamagata Prefecture, and families and others enjoyed various snow activities such as sliding down the snowy slopes.

In Sakegawa Village, a snow festival was held every year at the village's central public hall, but in response to a request to enjoy playing in the snow in a large venue, the venue was moved to the village facility, "Sakegawa Village Eco Park". It was opened.

On the 21st, in order to prevent infection with the new coronavirus, we took measures such as having people who measured the temperature and disinfected their hands attach a plate with their name and contact information.

At the venue, you can enjoy four snow activities such as a snow slide and snow trekking.

At the corner, which slides down a snowy slope about 20 meters high and 30 meters long, children were riding on the tire tubes and enjoying the sense of speed.

One of the most popular events was the event of pulling a rubber boat with a small snow vehicle, and children enjoyed the course of about 500 meters per lap with cheers.

A child who visited the Snow Festival said, "Since the slope was steep, I was able to slide fast and it was fun."
