China Weather Network News Yesterday (February 20) afternoon, the highest temperature in Beijing reached 20.8℃, breaking the extreme value of the same period in February since 1951.

During the day today, the temperature in Beijing is still "enthusiasm," and the highest temperature is expected to reach 20°C.

However, starting tomorrow, Beijing will restart the cooling mode, and the temperature will drop sharply. The public still needs to pay attention to the nowcast and add clothing in due course.

  At around 14:45 yesterday afternoon, the temperature at the Observatory in the southern suburbs of Beijing reached 20°C. This value broke the historical extreme value for the same period in February since 1951 (19.8°C on February 13, 1996).

Subsequently, the temperature in Beijing continued to rise. At 15:50 in the afternoon, the highest temperature reached 20.8°C, and the body felt slightly hot. Some citizens even wore short sleeves.

  During the day today, Beijing is still full of warmth, suitable for weekend outings.

According to the forecast issued by the Beijing Meteorological Observatory at 6 o'clock this morning, today it is cloudy to fine during the day, with northerly winds ranging from 2-3 levels to level 4, with a maximum temperature of 20℃; at night it is partly cloudy, with northerly winds ranging from level 2 to 3 and a minimum temperature of 1℃.

  However, although the weather in Beijing in the past two days is as warm as spring, it is actually still in the "post-winter" phase. The cold air will "return the carbine" from time to time, making people caught off guard.

According to forecasts, starting tomorrow, the temperature in Beijing will drop sharply again. It is expected that there will be light snow or sporadic light snow in the northern region from tomorrow night to daytime on the 23rd.

The Meteorological Department reminded the public to pay close attention to nowcasts, add clothing in time, and beware of colds.
