A representative of Kim, 40, confirmed that she had already filed for divorce.
TMZ quoted unidentified sources as saying that the separation was taking place amicably, and that Kardashian had requested joint custody of their four children.
While "Variety" quoted a judicial source as saying that Kardashian filed for divorce papers Friday.
