With the increase in the popularity of Wuyi Rock Tea, price speculation has also appeared in the market, and the phenomenon of "high-priced tea" has occurred from time to time, seriously disrupting market order.

  The so-called "high-priced rock tea" list that has gone viral in the Fujian market shows that more than ten types of teas on the list that are not for sale have a price of more than 100,000 yuan (RMB, the same below). "Tea even claims 480,000 yuan per catty.

  The tea trade associations across the Taiwan Strait propose to strengthen industry self-discipline, strengthen self-management, resolutely abandon excessive packaging, vulgar names, gimmicks and other behaviors, refrain from hyping up mountain tea and master tea, and refrain from participating in "high-priced tea" marketing.

  Recently, Wuyishan City Market Supervision Administration, Tea Industry Bureau and other departments interviewed some enterprises that sell "sky-price rock tea".

Wuyishan City officials stated that if there is excessive speculation, collusion to manipulate tea prices, or even shoddy behaviors, they will be investigated and dealt with according to law, exposed, and included in the management of corporate bad credit records.
