Singer Demi Lovato reveals that she has had 3 strokes and a heart attack

American singer Demi Lovato said she had suffered three strokes and a heart attack after taking a drug overdose in 2018, and that doctors told her she was near death.

"My doctors said I only had 5-10 minutes," the 28-year-old American pop star says in a new documentary.

Lovato told reporters that she had suffered brain damage and was still feeling the effects of it.

She revealed that these effects include a state of blurry vision, which means that she cannot drive, and makes reading difficult for her.

The former star was hospitalized in July 2018 after being found unconscious at her Los Angeles home.
