As the negotiations for the spring battle of this year began in earnest, a labor union made up of non-regular employees held a rally and appealed for improved treatment such as wage increases and securing employment.

The rally was held in Tokyo on the night of the 19th by the "National Union" formed by the labor union of non-regular employees, and about 40 people participated after thorough measures to prevent infection.

At the beginning, Chairman Tsuyoshi Suzuki of "National Union" called out, "People who work in non-regular employment are in a very difficult situation due to the corona sickness. Let's make a spring fight aiming for a society where we can live with peace of mind."

And in this spring battle, we will raise the hourly wage of all non-regular employees to 1500 yen or more, eliminate dismissals and hiring due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, and protect employment and livelihoods. We confirmed that we would like to ask the management side to improve the treatment gap with regular employees.

According to the labor union, people who work as part-timers or part-time workers are saying that shortening business hours will reduce their income and make their lives difficult, and that they want them to raise their hourly wages.

Some labor unions that are members of the national union will submit a request for spring fighting to temporary staffing companies on the 25th of this month.
