Hyogo Prefecture announced on the 19th that it was newly confirmed that 31 people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
It also announced that one person had been confirmed dead.
The total number of infected people announced in the prefecture was 17,737, and the number of people who died was 503.
