[Explanation] On February 18, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government approved the new crown vaccine of Kexing Holdings (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. for emergency use in Hong Kong in accordance with relevant regulations.
In the afternoon, the SAR government held a press conference to introduce the new crown vaccination plan.
According to Nie Dequan, Director of the Civil Service Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, the first batch of approximately 1 million doses of Kexing vaccine to be supplied to Hong Kong will arrive in Hong Kong on February 19.
Fubitai vaccine will also arrive in Hong Kong at the end of February, and five groups of people will be given priority.

The first is the staff of medical institutions and those involved in the fight against the epidemic; the second is people aged 60 or above, and those who accompany elders aged 70 or above to vaccinate can also be vaccinated, up to 2 people; the third elderly Residents and employees of residential homes and homes for the disabled.
The fourth is personnel who maintain necessary public services, such as some front-line personnel in environmental sanitation, such as waste, sewage, drainage, market cleansing personnel, etc.; or personnel who frequently contact the citizens, disciplined services personnel, and front-line personnel of the postal service. and many more.
The fifth group is the port staff of cross-border transportation ports, such as cross-border truck drivers, crew members, airport terminals, land port personnel, cross-border vessel crews, and cross-border fishermen.
[Explanation] Nie Dequan said that the government will open appointments for vaccination in stages depending on the date and quantity of vaccines arriving in Hong Kong. At present, the SAR government opens four ways of vaccination.

As for the way of vaccination, there are a total of four.
Including the first, there are a total of 29 community vaccination centers located in 18 districts in Hong Kong.
The second is to participate in the vaccination program, with more than 1,200 private doctors in more than 1,500 clinic locations.
Third, there are 18 general outpatient clinics under the Hospital Authority.
And the fourth is in residential houses for the elderly and the disabled.
[Explanation] It is reported that 24 of the 29 community centers open in Hong Kong are specifically vaccinated with Fubitai vaccine; 5 are vaccinated with Kexing vaccine.

When Kexing Vaccine arrives in Hong Kong tomorrow (February 19) and has been properly stored and arranged, we will start accepting online appointments for vaccination and start the vaccination plan next Tuesday, February 23.
Starting from February 26, that is, Friday, the 5 community vaccination centers and the general outpatient clinics under the Hospital Authority will first be vaccinated for citizens belonging to the priority group.
After that, in early March, we will arrange private doctors participating in the vaccination plan to vaccinate the public with Kexing vaccine.
