This driving school on the outskirts of Toulouse had been in the crosshairs of the authorities for several months, because of anomalies in its functioning.

A check took place on January 28.

It led to the administrative closure of this establishment, announced this Thursday by the prefecture of Haute-Garonne.

Three main grievances are set out.

This driving school's candidates for the driving license exams showed "particularly low driving levels".

Then, vehicles used during the practical training had "mechanical faults likely to endanger the safety of their occupants".

Finally, the volume of candidates presented for the driving exams was "not compatible with the training capacities, in particular during the third quarter of 2020".

The prefect Etienne Guyot therefore decided on this administrative closure on the proposal of the departmental director of the territories of Haute-Garonne, in charge of approving driving schools.

The manager of the company had his prefectural approval withdrawn.
