Bad news for fans of the singer.

Health crisis requires, Celine Dion has again postponed her European tour, scheduled from March 16 to June 16, 2021, to the period from May 25 to September 24, 2022, her team said on Wednesday.

The new starting point of the

Courage World Tour

in Europe is therefore scheduled for May 25, 2022 in Birmingham, England.

This is the second postponement of this flagship tour initially scheduled for 2020.

"Unfortunately, we have to wait a little longer"

The megastar will notably pass through Paris (La Défense Arena) with six dates (16, 17, 20, 21, 23 and 24 September 2022).

"I was really hoping to see you in Europe this spring, but unfortunately we have to wait a little longer, the situation is not yet [sure] enough", indicates Celine Dion in a video message in French and English transmitted by her staff .

“But we all know the vaccines are on the way, that's great!

I promise you one thing: we will make up for lost time in 2022, yes, I hope, I love you, I am bored, take care of you, see you soon, ”concludes the star.

Tickets purchased for the 2020 and 2021 concerts remain valid for the new shows rescheduled in 2022 (otherwise, reimbursement at points of sale until August 31, 2021).

Regarding its participation in the Vieilles Charrues on July 15, uncertainty remains.

Everything will depend on the meeting between the Minister of Culture and representatives of festivals on Thursday.

“Depending on the answers we get, we will work on a postponement with our production.

If we cannot have a festival in the normal form, with the usual gauge, we will talk about postponement, ”anticipates Jérôme Tréhorel.
