As a result of the Pandemic Act, five new proposals for new measures were presented during a press conference on Wednesday morning.

The proposals are about being able to close down more operations and to be able to adapt operations to premises looks and risk of congestion.

Museums and art galleries are recommended to open safely.

The operations must comply with the same rules as, for example, shops and gyms from 11 March, following a proposal from the government.

Many are already partially open, but now it applies to all museums and art galleries throughout the country.

"With what we propose, these businesses can now stay open in a more controlled way with infection control rules similar to those that currently apply to stores," says Amanda Lind.

Flexible audience limit

The limit of a maximum of 8 people at public gatherings and public events will be more flexible in a new proposal.

This means a varying maximum limit based on the risk of infection spreading and based on different event categories: indoors, indoors with seating, outdoors, exercise races and similar sports competitions.

Among other things, the audience boundaries will be adapted and can allow more people in the audience outdoors and where there are seats.

Exactly how many are not yet decided.

- This enables organizers to be able to arrange gatherings by making adjustments, instead of a fixed limit for everyone, there is the opportunity to receive more spectators if you arrange seating or move the meeting outdoors, says Amanda Lind.

Amusement parks, zoos and theme parks shall be covered by a more uniform set of rules and activities such as zoos, which have not had any restrictions, shall have the same restrictions as amusement parks.
