Customs officials found about 2 kg of stimulant hidden in a unglazed pottery doll that arrived at Narita Airport from Malaysia on the 6th of this month.



The Metropolitan Police Department arrested three parents and children living in this house on suspicion of violating the Narcotics Special Law because the destination of the luggage was a house in Urayasu City, Chiba Prefecture.



Wong Shu Min (53), a Malaysian national interior worker, and two daughters aged 36 and 18 were arrested. Wong admitted to the investigation and said, " I was in contact with an acquaintance living in China. I was supposed to receive a reward if I handed the baggage to a person. "



Other related parties found pottery with about 4 kg of stimulants hidden, and the total amount of stimulants seized was 6 kg, which is about 380 million yen at the end of the trafficking price.



The Metropolitan Police Department considers it a member of the smuggling group and is investigating the organizational background in detail.
