According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, 23 men and women living in Tokyo, Saitama, Niigata, Kyoto, Hyogo, and Kagoshima prefectures have been newly confirmed to be infected with the mutant virus.



Of these, three women who have never stayed abroad in Kyoto Prefecture and three women who have not stayed in the United Kingdom in Kagoshima Prefecture have been confirmed to be infected, and their ages have not been announced.



This is the first time that a mutant virus infection has been confirmed in Kyoto and Kagoshima prefectures other than quarantine inspection.



In addition, in Niigata Prefecture, infections of 13 men and women were confirmed, including those involved in the same facility who had never stayed abroad.



In addition, all three men confirmed to be infected in Hyogo Prefecture have no history of staying abroad.



As a result, a total of 151 people, including airport quarantine, have been confirmed to be infected with the mutant virus in Japan.
