According to the prefecture, about 60% of the places where this initiative was implemented were able to prevent the occurrence of clusters.

In Chiba Prefecture, 213 clusters were confirmed from February to February 12 last year, and more than half of them occur in facilities and medical institutions for the elderly and disabled.



Under these circumstances, in order to prevent the occurrence of clusters, Chiba Prefecture will promptly dispatch doctors and nurses specializing in infectious diseases to the site when the first infection is confirmed, and promote efforts to thoroughly implement countermeasures. I have.



According to the prefecture, such dispatches have been carried out at 31 facilities and medical institutions since July last year, and 19 of them, which is about 60% of the total, can be infected with less than 5 people and prevent the outbreak of clusters. It means that it was done.



The prefecture believes that on-site guidance on how to put on and take off protective clothing, how to dispose of garbage, and how to divide the flow lines helped prevent the spread of infection.
