People's Artist of Russia, sculptor Vladimir Mokrousov, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts (RAA), died at the age of 85 as a result of a heart attack amid coronavirus infection.
"On February 16, 2021, at the age of 85, Vladimir Petrovich Mokrousov died," the RAH said.
The press service of the academy told TASS that the sculptor was hospitalized with a heart attack due to coronavirus infection.
In May 2020, the death of the sculptor Roman Shustrov was reported.
