A Pakistani doctor sells a newborn whose family is unable to pay for his birth

In an incident that sparked outrage and disapproval, a Pakistani doctor sold a newborn baby after his parents were unable to pay hospital expenses.

Pakistan's Ari News TV channel reported that the incident occurred in the small town of Tulamba in Punjab State, Pakistan.

A man had brought his wife while she was in labor to a private hospital to deliver their child, and after the mother gave birth to her child, she was surprised that the costs were high for them and that they were unable to pay it.

The doctor offered to sell the baby to pay the hospital bill, but the parents refused the order, but they could not take their child to their home.

After that, the doctor sold that child to a man named, Faisal, against the will of the mother and father, who were quick to file a complaint in this regard to the police.

And immediately the police raided the hospital to arrest that doctor, while reports indicated that the management of that health center exerted great pressure on the parents to withdraw the complaint.
