On Facebook, anti-vaccine Internet users make their honey from a handwritten message that seems to have been posted on February 11 on the door of a doctor's office.

On this improvised poster, the doctor explains that she "reacted badly to [her] second dose of vaccine" against Covid-19 and therefore had to cancel her appointments for the day.

She apologizes to her patients and warns that she may also have to cancel her consultations the next day, Friday February 12.

For some social media users, this poster is proof of the dangers of vaccination.

was able to track down this general practitioner practicing in Piolenc, a village in Vaucluse.

Malika Addala confirms that she posted this message at the door of her office on February 11.

“I did this for the sake of transparency,” she explains.

I wanted to reassure my patients and be honest.

The practitioner had notably wanted to prevent,

a patient whose phone number she did not have.

After receiving the second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, she says she experienced side effects for twelve hours: chills, fever and headaches.

These are known side effects for this vaccine, the benefits of which "continue to outweigh all the risks", recalled the European Medicines Agency at the end of January.

"I'm doing very well today," insists the doctor, who quickly resumed her consultations.

This reaction is a sign of good immune defenses and proves that the vaccine is effective!
