According to news on February 15, archaeologists recently discovered a 5,000-year-old large-scale production brewery in the northern part of the ancient city of Abydos in Hajj Province, Egypt.

Archaeologists unearthed 8 containers used to produce beer at the site. Each container contains about 40 pots in two rows to heat a mixture of grain and water.
