[Explanation] On the occasion of the Spring Festival, a paper-cut animation "New Year" with the Chinese "New Year" story as the background, shines at the global launch ceremony of "Happy Chinese New Year" in 2021.
The paper-cut animation short film "New Year" uses paper-cut materials from Ningxia's representative inheritor of national intangible cultural heritage, Fu Zhao'e, and combines paper-cutting with two-dimensional animations in an innovative way, showing the Chinese New Year greetings and thanksgiving blessings , The cultural connotation of reunion and harmony.

"Nian" is actually a kind of animal, a kind of monster. How do I cut this monster?
I folded it up, thinking it was scary.
When the monster came, the people in our village (village) were too scared to open the door, and finally they moved Zhuangzi (village) into the mountain. The monster was still chasing (chasing) the past, and people set the torch, The bonfire and firecrackers were set up and the monster was scared away.
From then on, the "New Year" was designated as the New Year, and firecrackers and torches were used to drive the monsters away. The "Year" was passed, the monsters were driven away, the plague passed, and the people's good life came.
Passed down to the present, this is the origin of the "year".

I am now a third-generation inheritor. When I was six years old, I learned paper-cutting with my mother. Now I have become a national-level inheritor.
My grandson learned paper-cutting with me, and my daughter also learned paper-cutting with me. I plan to pass on paper-cutting from generation to generation.
[Explanation] "Paper-cutting has different innovations in the inheritance of each generation of our family." Fu Zhao'e said that when her daughter proposed to make paper-cuts into animation, she saw the new direction of paper-cutting in breakthrough and innovation.

I am the fourth generation inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage paper-cut project and a member of the All-China Youth Federation. My name is Li Jian.
I have been doing the inheritance and innovation of intangible cultural heritage, because my mother’s generation has done a very good job of paper-cutting. She has been able to represent some of the Chinese paper-cutting projects and characteristics, and I also hope to integrate paper-cutting in depth. Unearth it, better popularize it in society, find its entry point, and let more people like the paper-cut culture.
Like the "New Year" animation I made this time, I think it is a very good way to combine the launch of the previous ideas with the animation, because the combination will allow everyone to better understand more traditional Chinese culture.
Paper-cutting has many deep meanings. It is a way of inheriting Chinese wisdom.
We combined paper-cutting with traditional culture this time. Through promotion to more than 90 countries overseas, we found that more people will feel cordial and have a deeper understanding of Chinese culture.
Of course for us, I think that the inheritance of traditional culture plays a very important role in our national confidence, our love for our hometown, and our deep recognition and understanding of China, especially for young people. The generation that the country values and we value, and the in-depth contact with traditional culture will make them more aware of our love for our hometown, and will be more meaningful for our traditional culture to go out and set foot in the country and the world.
