On February 14th, on the third day of the first lunar month, the Mazu Temple in Meizhou, Putian City, Fujian Province, joined hands with the Taiwan Palace Temple to hold the New Year Prayer for the "Cross-Strait Pray for Blessings and a New Journey".
In previous years, Mazu believers from all over the world have come across the sea at this time to participate in the New Year Ceremony and the series of activities such as "burning incense and praying for five blessings".
Affected by the epidemic this year, some Mazu admirers were unable to visit the scene in person, and the Ancestral Temple used "online and offline" live broadcasts for the New Year celebration ceremony.
