Meeting with part of the team.

Publicity

LesJours.fr

French news site available on subscription was launched in February 2016 by journalists - most of them had left the daily

Liberation

 - who wanted to blow a new wind on information, made of obsessions, reports and decryption long term, in series, in episodes.

The Media Workshop

echoed the development and then the launch of the site.

Five years later, Les Jours has just reached a financial break-even point, so returning to take the pulse of this writing again was obvious.

On Tuesday, February 9, three of the co-founders of Les Jours received us in their premises in the 19th arrondissement of Paris: President

Isabelle Roberts

, co-editor of the editorial board

Raphaël Garrigos

and

Sophian Fanen

, a journalist who covers the music industry in particular - but he also spends a lot of time putting together musical playlists to accompany every obsession.

In this podcast, we come back to the journalistic approach of Les Jours - which Isabelle Roberts associates with

deep journalism

-, the attention paid to user experience (UX), the importance of the community of subscribers - including more than half are under 35 years old - the economic situation and avenues for development of the media.
