The Glastonbury Festival -

Famous for hosting the Glastonbury Festival, you almost forget that Worthy Farm is still a real farm.

And when it does not welcome hundreds of thousands of festival-goers, its pastures are occupied by cows whose milk will be used, for the first time in a long time, to produce cheese.

And not just any cheese since it is a cheddar.

Dubbed Worthy Farm Reserve Cheddar, the product will be distributed to all Co-op stores across the UK.

A small consolation for the regulars of the festival who, again this year, saw the musical event canceled because of the pandemic.

However, they could smile again by getting a brick of this exclusive cheese.

Heartbreaking

Indeed, the first customers to purchase this Worthy Farm Reserve Cheddar may have the chance to win a ticket for the 2022 edition of the festival.

At the very beginning of the year, Emily Eavis, the organizer of the Glastonbury festival, again denied the rumors of cancellation which were multiplying.

A few weeks later, a press release confirmed the inevitable.

“Despite our efforts to move heaven and earth, it has become clear that we simply will not be able to do the Festival this year,” said Emily Eavis and her father Michael with regret.
