A police dog from the Hyogo Prefectural Police Headquarters, who escaped during the mission, was commended for his success in finding a missing elderly person in Kobe immediately after receiving retraining and returning to the scene.

The award was given to a 2-year-old male shepherd "Kreva", a police dog of the Hyogo Prefectural Police.

On the 7th of this month, I was dispatched to search for a missing 81-year-old woman in Kobe, and about 45 minutes later, I found it about 2 kilometers away from my home based on the smell of pillows.

The woman was not injured.

The Kreva escaped in the mountains of Hyogo prefecture in October last year while searching for a missing person, and after three months of retraining, it just returned to the scene on the 4th of this month, and the prefectural police said, "Don't let me quit." Approximately 90 voices such as "I support you" were received.

At the awards ceremony held at the Fukiai Police Station in Chuo-ku, Kobe on the 12th, the Kreva seemed nervous from beginning to end to the rushed press, but while the letter of appreciation was being read, he looked straight ahead. After that, I was biting into a bone-shaped treat as a reward.

He has a cheerful, curious personality and high abilities, so Assistant Manager Takayuki Muraoka of the forensics department in charge said, "Thank you for your hard work and achievements. Thank you for your continued support." I was wearing it.
