The pioneering initiative

Falconers praised the initiative of the Emirates Falconry League, specifically with regard to the addition of the category of "sheikhs" in the second edition this year, which had a great impact in raising motivation and raising levels of challenge.

Falconer Khalifa bin Sheikh Mejren al-Kindi, the leader of the F3 team, expressed his appreciation for launching the “Sheikhs” competitions, because of the importance they have in direct confrontations between the birds of these teams, and said: “The fun and the parity lies in the confrontations between the birds in the rounds. Unlike the other rounds that are subject to lots, and it is difficult for the two falcons to compete in the same timing and circumstances as well, which makes anticipation and suspense present in all the details of the runs.

He added, "The establishment of this type of competition would move the falconry market, through the efforts of these large teams to attract the best and strongest birds, and thus benefit other falconers."

As for the falconer Sultan Muhammad bin Markhan, the leader of the M7 team, he emphasized that the efforts made to develop these championships are very positive and motivate falconers, while he attributed the superiority in this type of confrontation to how to deal with the runs and the competitor, and the secret remains always in keeping a winning card in Each stroke is represented by the strongest bird in existence, in order to obtain the necessary confidence in the rest of the runs.

Falconer Khalfan Butti Al Qubaisi, captain of Rabdan (which was named Al-Sirmi previously), considered that the competition is strong in this version, and the benefits are numerous from this kind of new competitions that develop every year, and he said: “The league is going strong steps from the start. , And we are happy that the (Sheikhs) category is present in this edition, after the success achieved by the (General) category last year.

It is also a step that enhances the sales of the best falcons, and increases the buying and selling processes between these teams and the owners of trained falcons and birds (the suqs). ”

"F3" is launched with two victories and a chase from Al Dhafra, and "M7" in "Al Shuyoukh".

"Rabdan" leads the "general" score with seven wins.
