Since its revelation this weekend, the case has stirred public opinion and triggered media and political reactions far beyond Toulouse.

It undoubtedly found its epilogue this Thursday in the early evening: the squatters who had occupied the house of an octogenarian since last September in the north of the city, left the place.

Roland, 88, will therefore recover his property which he intends to sell to join his wife in an Ehpad in Tarn.

This evacuation was confirmed by police sources.

According to 100% Radio, it is the result of negotiations with young people from the neighborhood.

Avenue de Fronton was the scene of unusual unrest in recent days, with demonstrations in favor of the owner, and others in support of the squatters, who could not be legally evicted before the end of the winter break, postponed until the end of March to June 1.
