Ibaraki Prefecture and Mito City announced on the 11th that they have confirmed that 47 new people have been infected with the new coronavirus.
So far, a total of 5293 people have been confirmed to be infected in the prefecture.
The prefecture also revealed that one new person had died.
A total of 87 people died in the prefecture.
