On the 8th, a submarine of the Maritime Self-Defense Force collided with a cargo ship off the coast of Kochi Prefecture, injuring three crew members of the submarine, and the 5th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters was suspicious of accidental injury in business. The 5th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters in Kobe City began investigating the collided cargo ship "Ocean Artemis" around 9:30 am on the 10th.



Five ships, including a patrol boat, are out, and coast guard officers are investigating the damage to the hull by diving into the sea or boarding a ship.

The accident occurred on the 8th, about 50 km offshore southeast of Cape Ashizuri in Kochi Prefecture, when the Maritime Self-Defense Force's submarine "Soryu" and a cargo ship carrying iron ore collided with each other. It has been confirmed that the right side of the called "Kaj" is bent and the right side of the bridge is dented.



In this accident, three male SDF personnel in their 20s and 40s suffered minor injuries such as bruising their faces and burns on their ankles.



The Maritime Security Headquarters began investigating both submarines and cargo ships on the 9th, and is also interviewing the crew with a view to suspicion of accidental injury in business and the risk of accidental traffic in business.
