8 steps to reduce hair loss

Hair loss is a problem that cannot be avoided most of the time for males and females, but a dermatologist indicated the need to make lifestyle changes to avoid this as much as possible.

Here are 9 changes you should begin to make, according to Russian media:

1- Follow a healthy and balanced diet: It is recommended to follow a diet rich in antioxidants, which are of particular importance in reducing hair loss associated with aging.

2- Monitor vitamin and mineral deficiencies: Because low levels of B vitamins, vitamin D and iron may lead to hair weakness and hair loss.

3- Exercise regularly: It is recommended to do at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise per week, or 75 minutes of vigorous activity per week.

4- Stopping smoking: because the smoker's hair tends to be more fragile and cut off, and turns gray early.

5- Anxiety treatment: Studies in mice have shown that stress alters the growth stages in the hair cycle, shortening the anagen phase (active growth).

6- Take biotin: Lots of premium hair growth vitamins contain biotin, which is the secret to long hair.

7- Hair care: It is advised to avoid harsh colors, dyes and hair products.

8- Fight dehydration: 25% of every strand of hair is made of water, so you need to make sure you stay hydrated.
