The public security organs of provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities simultaneously carried out a centralized arrest operation of criminal suspects in the "12.15" project, successfully cutting off a cross-border criminal channel for illegally trafficking in phone cards and bank cards.

As of 19:00 on February 4, a total of 531 criminal suspects had been arrested and more than 11,000 phone cards and bank cards were seized, with a total amount of more than 14 million yuan.

  In December last year, the public security organs of Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province discovered an important channel for illegally trafficking in "two cards" to northern Myanmar, and initially identified an illegal group that "operated" the channel in depth.

The Joint Office of the State Council listed the case as a "12·15" project.

After investigation, in the criminal chain from illegal purchase and trafficking to smuggling out of the country, the "card collection" group first purchased a large number of phone cards and bank cards from all over the country in China and mailed them to Yunnan; then the "disguise" group unpacked the mail and After stuffing the "two cards" into plush toys and small household appliances for disguise, they were transported to the China-Myanmar border by passenger bus; finally they were illegally trafficked by "smuggling" groups to overseas fraud dens.

On February 4, the Joint Office of the State Council decided to launch the third round of centralized network collection operations, deploying 27 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities to simultaneously carry out centralized arrests and destroy this cross-border channel for illegal collection, trafficking and transportation of "two cards" in one fell swoop.

  It is understood that since the launch of the nationwide "Card Broken" operation in October last year, as of now, more than 8,600 criminal gangs involved in the "two cards" have been eliminated, more than 160,000 criminal suspects have been arrested, and criminal suspects have been publicly punished. There are more than 57,000 employees, and more than 10,000 industrial outlets and institutions have been managed.
