Shuichiro Moriyama, an actor who appeared in many works such as NHK's serial TV novel "Ale" broadcast last year and played the voice of the main character of the animated movie "Porco Rosso", was also active as a voice actor on the 8th. He died at a hospital in Saitama prefecture due to pneumonia.

Shuichiro Moriyama is from Aichi prefecture, and after dropping out of college, he joined a theater company and started acting as an actor.

He has appeared in many works such as TV dramas and movies, and in NHK, he has appeared in the taiga dramas "Taikoki" and "Tokugawa Yoshinobu".



He also played an active role as a voice actor by making use of his astringent low voice, and played the voice of the main character "Porco Rosso" in the animated movie "Porco Rosso" directed by Hayao Miyazaki.

Recently, he appeared in the NHK TV series "Ale" broadcast last year as the grandfather of the main character, Yuichi Koyama, but according to his agency, this work was his last appearance on the 8th. He died at a hospital in Saitama prefecture due to pneumonia.
