[Explanation] There are only more than 90 days left before the 10th China Flower Expo. As the flower variety supplier and one of the exhibitors of this flower expo, Shanghai Chongming Smart Ecological Flower Garden, various assembly lines are running fast.
On February 8, a reporter from China News Agency saw a lively scene in the planting area, seedling area, and seedling management area in the fully automated production workshop of the flower garden.
It is reported that during the flower expo, Chongming Smart Ecological Flower Garden will supply more than 100 varieties, totaling 4 million pots of flowers.
Among them, there are many ornamental or rare species such as Australian foxtail, bulbous crabapple, and astilbe.

These 4 million potted flowers are fully intelligently controlled during the production process. There are currently more than 100 varieties and 288 patterns.
The one I saw is a planter. Our base has introduced 4 such planting lines. Its productivity per hour reaches 200,000 (strain), and my 4 machines reach 800,000 (strain) seeding per hour. .
[Explanation] Song Lei, general manager of the production department of Shanghai Chongming Smart Ecological Flower Garden, introduced that the initial germination, seedling cultivation and potting of flower varieties were realized here, and high-quality flower seedlings were finally screened out for the next step in the greenhouse.
In the greenhouse, the first batch of flowers cultivated for the Flower Expo-Landscape Begonia has bloomed flowers.
In addition, some new varieties that are not available in China will also be unveiled during the Expo.

In fact, we are still under great technical pressure on the production volume of the Flower Fair this time, because many of them are new varieties just introduced from abroad, and there is no complete planting technology plan in China.
The method we adopted is to obtain relevant information from abroad and combine some of the conditions in our greenhouses to allow relevant technical personnel to focus on this technical issue.
[Explanation] Regarding the cultivation of 4 million pots of flowers, Song Lei said that he could not be sloppy in time, because the opening times of different varieties of flowers are not the same. In order to be synchronized with the time of the Flower Expo, the cultivation time of each variety must be The mastery is just right.
Some varieties have been sown and cultivated in October 2020, while others will not be sown until March 2021.
Song Lei said that according to the plan, half of the production tasks of flower seedlings used in the Flower Expo will be completed before the Spring Festival, and the other half will be concentrated in March.
