Regarding the state of emergency, Governor Yoshimura of Osaka Prefecture will hold a meeting of the Prefectural Countermeasures Headquarters on the 9th, as the number of new positives in the prefecture is declining, and whether to request the government to cancel it. He showed his thoughts to consider.

Regarding the state of emergency that was extended to the 7th of next month, Osaka Prefecture said that the average number of new positives in the last week was 300 or less per day for 7 days, or the use of beds for critically ill patients. If the rate is less than 60% for 7 days, we will decide whether to request the cancellation from the government based on the opinions of experts.

Regarding this, Governor Yoshimura told reporters on the 8th, "As a result of having the citizens of the prefecture and businesses cooperate in trying to suppress the infection, the number of infected people has decreased significantly."

He added, "The degree of tightness of the bed is improving, but I don't think it has improved enough. I would like to hear the opinions of experts at the meeting tomorrow before making a decision." He held a meeting of the prefectural response headquarters and expressed his intention to consider whether to request the government to cancel.

In addition, Governor Yoshimura said, "Because Keihanshin is one, we would like to allow the governors of the three prefectures to take action together, and coordinate the handling of the state of emergency, if possible." I reiterated the idea that it is desirable for the three prefectures of Hyogo, Hyogo, and Kyoto to be in line.
