In the fight against breast cancer, many women lose part of their femininity following mastectomy when the cancer is aggressive and in an advanced stage.

The body changes and Angélique Lecomte, who lived through this ordeal, created her brand to help all women to magnify this new body.

The brand name came up during a conversation with my daughter, with many questions about bikes, a five year old conversation.

In answering him I made the link: women who have had breast cancer, they had two breasts and in an accident of life, they lost one.

I found the metaphor pretty and Les Monocyclettes sums up the spirit of the brand.

Angélique Lecomte had breast cancer in 2016. To treat it, she had an ablation.

After this ordeal she did not want surgical reconstruction.

She found herself facing difficulties in dressing.

Faced with daily complications, she had the idea of 

Monocyclettes

, a brand of asymmetrical clothing to sublimate this new body and aroused by her personal experience.  

At one point, I found myself with classic clothes that didn't match my new body type.

I looked for suitable clothes and couldn't find any.

Asymmetrical clothes we can find, but this is quite rare and it is not always the good side, it was not the right breast that was hidden.

It was very frustrating not being able to dress the way I wanted.
