Jennifer Lawrence injured her eye after an explosion during filming

Celebrity news website TMZ and the Boston Globe said yesterday that Oscar-winning Jennifer Lawrence was injured near her eye due to flying glass while filming her new movie in Boston, USA.


The website added that the glass that was blown off by a controlled explosion during the filming of the movie "Don't Look Up", "Don't Look Up," injured Lawrence, 30, in an eyelid wound and bleeding.


The Boston Globe newspaper said it was not known the extent of the injury in the accident, which occurred after midnight Thursday.


Citing two sources close to the production, the newspaper said Lawrence was holding her face when the paramedics arrived and filming stopped.


Netflix, which intends to distribute this comedy film that governs the story of two astronomers trying to warn the world of a meteor that will destroy Earth, declined to comment on these reports.

Lawrence's representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment.


And the (Hollywood Outlet Deadline) website quoted unnamed sources as saying that Lawrence is recovering.
