A teenager miraculously escapes after grasping a plane at 19,000 feet
A Kenyan teenager, who was traveling by stealth on a plane from London to the Netherlands, miraculously escaped after hanging on the plane for 250 miles while it was flying at an altitude of 19,000 feet.
According to reports, the 16-year-old boy was found in the landing gear of the Turkish Airlines Airbus A330 cargo plane, after landing at Maastricht airport in the Netherlands.
According to the Mirror website, the boy, who was suffering from a severe hypothermia, was taken to the hospital, where he narrowly escaped from an imminent death.
A spokesman for London Stansted Airport said the plane originally departed from Kenya to Turkey, then to Stansted before heading to Maastricht.
He noted that the boy was very lucky, because most of the stowaways who cling to the airframe, as a rule, freeze to death.
