Until March 14, the Galerie de l'Instant, in Paris, presents a photo exhibition whose main subject is Frida Kahlo (1907-1954).

It is the photographer and artist Lucienne Bloch (1909-1999) who is the author of the pictures of the famous Mexican painter.

Assistant of the artist Diego Riviera (1886-1954), the husband of Frida Kahlo, Lucienne Bloch becomes the friend of the painter, a friendship allowing her to take pictures in the private circle, in all confidence.

Black and white images that allow us to take a different look at Frida Kahlo, unlike the very colorful image of Epinal that we often associate with the Mexican artist.
